A Little About Joseph

Your-New-Home.com.au is the initiative of its registered owner Joseph Lee who has been in the property industry since mid-2003. Besides being a Licensed Estate Agent and a Vendors / Buyers Advocate, Joseph is a Professional Valuer, a Member of the Australian Property Institute and has a Civil Engineering degree.

His broad based property career spans the areas of valuation, development feasibility and sale and purchase advisory of residential, commercial, industrial and rural lifestyle properties for private and corporate  clients. 

As a professional valuer for over 15 years Joseph has inspected, researched and analysed thousands of homes of various types, sizes, styles and building materials throughout Metro Melbourne and Country Victoria. From inner city Victorian terraces and converted warehouses to holiday homes in the Mornington Peninsula and hobby farms in rural areas; from apartments and penthouses in the Melbourne CBD, Docklands and Southbank to McMansions in outer suburbs and mansions in bluechip suburbs; from freestanding brand new and old weatherboard homes to duplexes, boutique developments and architect-designed homes; and from house and land packages to off-the-plan apartments, townhouses and strata units, Joseph has seen it all!  

With this wealth of knowledge and experience coupled with the fact that Joseph also has a civil engineering background and has held senior management positions in companies involved in manufacturing and distributing various building materials, you will be able to talk to Joseph about such matters as: the concrete slab, waterproofing, insulation, building structure, acoustic issues, surface runoff, ground settlement and many others. Most importantly, Joseph will be able to enlighten you on value matters, that is, current market values and future market growth prospects of your home.  

Joseph has real estate in his bones. He grew up in a household with parents running their own real estate agency. His father was a founder president of the real estate institute of a south-east Asian country. With his south-east Asian roots, Joseph has a vibrant network of Asian connections. 

Joseph lives in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne with his wife and two daughters. He is a strong supporter of disadvantaged children in Third World countries through World Vision and Compassion Australia.

A Little About Jess

Jess is excellent at client care / customer service because of her inherent compassion for people. Her wealth of consumer sales experience for over 10 years, at different times promoting such international brands as Lancome, Christian Dior and Shiseido taught her that the "customer is king (or queen)" and so has to be treated as one. Jess has many appreciative and repeat customers and she attributes this to her mantra of "do unto others as you would others do unto you". It is in her nature to go the extra mile in meeting customer’s needs and to treat every client as a VIP.  

Jess' diverse skillset comprising fashion designing, beauty consulting, counselling and property services combined with her ability to speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Hokkien, Malay and English makes her a great asset to the team.
